Joe Brown is a family-centered military veteran. He is currently a systems engineer with a major computer systems security company. He resides in Southwest Missouri, just outside of Springfield.

Joe is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), a long time member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and dedicated supporter of the March of Dimes.

Joe attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, graduating in 1991. During college, Joe was a Texas Army National Guardsman (National Guard Association of Texas – Life Member) and owned his own personal computer sales and service company. He worked full time as many entrepreneurs do, while carrying a full academic load. In addition to work, Guard duty, and school, Joe held many leadership roles in several school organizations such as American Marketing Association, American Management Association, SFA Orienteering Club, and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

After college, Joe joined the United States Air Force in 1993. He has held positions in many facets of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR). Joe has served our nation in The Persian Gulf, Korea, and The United States. Not only does he know what it is to be deployed to other, many times hostile areas of the globe, he has also seen firsthand the effects deployment has on the military family.
