Greetings all,

I'm born and raised in Connecticut, the Constitution State, though I'm currently stationed in California.

I started reading around the site and it just felt so refreshing! A group that values creative long term solutions, reasonable compromise, and ethical leadership rather than ideology, party dogma, and short-sighted special interest.

It really sums up my view of politics. I've voted for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, always trying to pick out the one who most embodies the aforementioned traits (increasingly difficult to do).

It's awesome that there's a party that will nominate and support these kinds of leaders and hold them accountable.

Cheers,

-Jason

Welcome Home! :) I use Ike often in my blogs. May be one of the last true leaders we've had as C-in-C.
