Andrew Evans was born in Houston, TX and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, he currently lives in Greenville, NC where he is attending East Carolina University and double majoring in Political Science & History. He hopes to attend law school upon graduation or work in local or state government.
Gene Chaas is a native of Rochester NY and schooled at Syracuse University where he earned a M.A. from the Maxwell School in International Political Economy. Gene has lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn Heights and now resides outside of Buffalo.
David Ervin is a native of North Carolina. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry and also in agriculture. David enjoys reading, sports and hard work. David is glad to work with the Whigs as he wants to be a part of making America better.
Mr. Trinidad is a long-time public servant. He has provided administrative and technical support for the Social Services programs in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Trinidad is an advocate for heart health awareness. Mr. Trinidad also supports a stronger political presence for Asian-Americans and other under-represented groups.
Naoufal Houjami is currently the owner of an established small business based in Houston. Houjami has international background & professional experiences in many countries in Africa, Europe, and the Mideast. Houjami's education includes a Masters degree in Corporate Strategy, Bachelors in Finance and Engineering from Poly Finance Institute. Houjami is fluent in French & Arabic. He is also a member of Houston Inventors Association, and Bukisa Political writers. Houjami is married and a father. In addition to serving on the National Executive Committee Houjami also serves as Texas MWP chair.
The Northern Region, Vice Chair position is currently open and will be filled from Whig members from the states within that region. The following states are part of the Northern Region: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
The Executive Director is tasked with ensuring that the Modern Whigs coordinate their activity uniformly across the nation and with each state chapter. The Executive Director serves to aid the National Chairman directly in coordinating day to day operations of the party.
The Veterans Affairs Assistance Committee of the Modern Whig Party exists to help Whig veteran members and veterans who are not members with veterans’ issues. The committee will organize the Modern Whig Party response to difficulties that veterans may be having with their benefits or any other veteran issues. The Committee will also help veterans’ families as well. The Veterans Affairs Assistance Committee also is able to help active duty military as well as their families.
The Director of the Roundtables is responsible for overseeing the Whig Roundtables. Responsibilities include being the head moderator of the Roundtables and making sure that the Roundtables run smoothly and the procedures of the Roundtables are followed.
Gabriel is a former Professor of Political Science and active member of the New York Whigs. The Director of the Whig Academy is responsible for overseeing the operations of he Whig Academy on a day to day and week to week basis.
Jim began his career in electronics in 1973 after leaving the Navy and has been involved with the Internet in some fashion since the mid 1980s. His resume includes being Computer Products Division Manager and Lead Software Architect. He brings a strong background of experience with customer driven websites to the position.
The Director of New Media oversees the Modern Whig website and other Internet operations and manages the New Media team.
