NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The
members of the Executive Committee assist in the operation and
promotion of the Modern Whig Party. In addition, the Executive
Committee works with local members in the 50 states as our party
continues to grow. Based on their efforts, the party since 2007 has
seen a drastic growth of several thousand members. It also should be
noted that in keeping with the values and tradition of the Modern Whig
Party, at least one member of the executive committee will always be a
military veteran, Reservist/Guardsman or military spouse.

NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
Mike Lebowitz
The
chairman of the Modern Whig Party was selected in 2007 by a Board of
Benefactors to lead the reinvigoration of this centuries-old party. Mr.
Lebowitz is uniquely qualified for this position based on his
professional esteem and service to our country. In 2005-2006, he served
in Iraq as a paratrooper with the elite Pathfinder Company of the 101st
Airborne Division. Currently, he is a noted attorney with the
Washington, DC law firm of Greenberg & Lieberman. In addition, Mr.
Lebowitz serves part-time as a JAG officer in the Virginia Army
National Guard. He is known as an advocate for our military veterans
and has organized major events in this regard. In addition, he is
active with his local VFW post. He also is an award-winning journalist
and has spent a considerable amount of time in the field of media and
legal reform in places such as East Africa and the Middle East.

David Knight
Mr.
Knight is a published author and historian. An attorney by training, he
is active in international dispute resolution and human rights law, and
has provided legal assistance in the Khmer Rouge war crimes trials at
the Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia and legal aid
initiatives in Liberia. In keeping with our tradition, Knight has
experience as an Army officer and currently serves in the National

Ashley MacVeigh
Originally
from Pennsylvania, Ashley MacVeigh is a graduate of American
University. She has extensive knowledge of the political system. In
addition, she has previously served with the Department of Homeland
Security. Ms. MacVeigh serves as a spokeswoman for the organization and
plans on using her experience to assist in advocacy initiatives of the
Modern Whig Party. Previously, Ms. MacVeigh was our Maryland Chairwoman
and will continue to serve in that capacity as well until the position
can be filled.

Adam Dolezal
Prior
to joining the executive committee, Adam Dolezal was engaged in the
radio industry in Ohio. He then moved to the East Coast where he became
very successful in the maritime field and continues to be highly sought
after for his knowledge on the subject. Currently, Adam Dolezal serves
as a technician for a major Maryland corporation.

Alaska
Alaska Chairman Joel Dolphin is an infantryman in the U.S. Army
with a keen sense for family, our country and our military. He is
currently inactive until he returns home next year from combat duties
overseas. The National Party recognizes Mr. Dolphin as a true patriot
and for his succesful effort in assisting in lobbying the U.S. Senate
to help grant a former basic training colleague our nation's highest
honor -- the Congressional Medal of Honor.

accounting, finance and contracts at multiple publicly traded companies. He has
a B.S. in Finance, a MBA and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Originally from
California, he has spent the last 20 years living in Arizona. He's been
married for nine years and he and his wife have three daughters together.

Arkansas
Arkansas Chairman Jacob Cooke has served in the Army Reserves since
1997. He is a veteran of Iraq where he spent time in Fallujah. While
the Arkansas Chapter has adopted most of the national party's issues,
their official stance on the Iraq issue differs in that they state that
U.S. forces must remain committed to Iraq until the Iraqis can govern
and police themselves in an environment free of terrorist groups.

California
California Chairman Allen A. Baumann is a retired Lt. Colonel. He had
an impressive military career where he served, among other items, as a
special forces officer in Vietnam and company commander at the 101st
Airborne Division. The military tradition carried on to his son, who
also is a retired Lt. Colonel and a veteran of Iraq. While working with
the Modern Whig Party in his civilian capacity and not as a retired
officer, Mr. Baumann is in support of a "Warrior Diploma" program for
veterans of conflicts such as WWII, Korea and Vietnam that seeks to
award diplomas to those veterans that left high school to join the
service and ultimately did not receive a diploma. Colorado Colorado Chairman Jack W. Wood, originally of Oklahoma, has
worked in the security and law enforcement field for most of his adult life. In
addition, Mr. Wood was Chief of Police in Arkoma, OK. He also has served as a
forensic investigator for the Child Protection Services division of the
Department of Health and Human Services. Mr. Wood currently resides in Northern
Colorado and is in the process of implementing numerous ideas to build the
Colorado Chapter of the Modern Whig Party.

Florida Chapter Chairman Jeremy McShurley was the first to register this revitalized party with a state Division of Elections.

Hawaii
Hawaii Chairman David Lusk is an attorney dedicated to the preservation
of our Constitution. He has served enlistments in both the Navy Reserve
and the National Guard, and is now a JAG officer. He is also the author
of the critically-acclaimed military science-fiction novel "A Man of
War." Mr. Lusk was a public defender for a number of years as well.

Chairman Jesse Corray was born and raised in central Illinois. Mr.
Corray is a Marine Corps veteran where he served in numerous duty
locations to include Japan and Australia. He also volunteered for
deployment to the Middle East with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Upon separating from the Marine Corps, Mr. Corray has continued to work
as a project infrastructure coordinator in Bloomington, IL. He is a
devoted husband and father, and has a clear and concise plan to build
the Modern Whig Party in his home state.

Chairman Jay Brown is a former staff sergeant in the Indiana Guard
Reserve. Currently, Mr. Brown works with the Indiana Department of
Transportation. A resident of Huntington County, he is a devoted father

Michigan
Chairman Samuel Cummings is an executive in the private security
sector and is also telecommunications and computer engineering consultant.
Coming from a family of national service, his immediate family has been
associated with the federal Departments of Transportation, Treasury,
Homeland Security and Justice, he has lived around; and has seen a great
deal of the United States. A former mortgage banker and having strong
familial and friendship ties with the
military, Cummings considers Veterans
affairs and the general economy first priorities in our nation today.

Minnesota
Chairman Sean Doheny is a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard
and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served in Iraq from
March 2006 to July 2007 with the 1st BCT/34th ID. He currently is
a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus where he
plans on majoring in political science and global studies. Sean has a
passion for community relations, international relations and diplomacy.
He joined the Modern Whig Party as part of his desire to make a real
change in his community and country.
Minnesota Deputy Chairman Ian
Wolfe was deployed to Kosovo with the Minnesota Army National Guard
from October 2003 to August 2004 as a Mental Health Specialist.
He also was deployed to Iraq
for 16 months with the 1st BCT/34th ID. Ian's tour was extended as part
of the surge. During this time, Ian and two others designed and
implemented a health class and women's health class for Iraqi villages
surrounding their base. The project was later picked up and
transitioned to the Iraqi Army. He also worked in the ER, ICU and
clinic. In addition, he was featured in "The Sandbox" by GD
Trudeau of Doonesbury fame. He also blogged on the Sandbox
website throughout his Iraq
tour. Ian has a liberal arts degree and is currently in a nursing degree program and pursuing a bachelor's degree in
writing.

Missouri
Missouri Chairman George Mills is an aviator in the Missouri Army National Guard. He also is a
veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, having served from May 2006 to August 2007. He is
currently a full time student. He plans to major in Aerospace engineering and
minor in political science. He loves politics, foreign affairs and debates. He
is also married and currently resides in Southwest Missouri As a Modern Whig, he plans to reach out to people who want
to make a difference in the state of Missouri and our country.

Nebraska Chairman Ryan Lewis is a graduate of the
University of
Nebraska at
Omaha with two Bachelor’s Degrees in
Political Science and International Studies. He has been serving in the Army
Reserve since 2005 as an Intelligence Officer. He recently completed a tour in
Afghanistan as
the Staff Battalion Intelligence Officer in the 13th Psychological
Operations Battalion supporting the 82nd Airborne Division. His
current employment is as a defense contractor on Offutt AFB supporting United
States Strategic Command. Mr. Lewis' interest in politics stems from family discussions around the
dinner table while growing up and first hand observation of Ukrainian politics
while living in
Ukraine for two
years following graduation from High School. Mr. Lewis plans to use his
knowledge of domestic and international politics to help The Modern Whig Party

Chairman Bernard Hunt is a former international correspondent and
newspaper editor. During his 40-year career, he led a team that won a
Pulitzer Prize at a major US newspaper; he was chief editor at several
American newspapers; and he served in the editorial trenches as a
correspondent for Reuters, the Associated Press and for news
organizations in Canada, the United Kingdom, Zimbabwe and at the
University of Botswana in southern Africa. A proud naturalized citizen,
he has voted in every presidential election since Ronald Reagan's first
victory.

New Jersey
New Jersey Chairman Scott Rizzo teaches high school mathematics in a very large high school in NJ. He holds a
bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam (Home of the Potsdam
Miracle) and a Master's Degree in Teaching from Montclair State
University
in NJ. Scott is a husband and father. He plans on using his indepth
experience with online marketing to assist in the promotional and
tactical goals of the Modern Whig Party in New Jersey and elsewhere.

New York Chairman Howard Klein is a Vietnam veteran and served in the
military for many years as a helicopter pilot, flight commander and
instructor among other items. Upon leaving active military service, he
attained his New York City master electrician’s license and created an
electrical contracting business in Manhattan. He later merged it with
another contracting firm and operated the combined entity successfully
as CEO for 25 years. His firm did work in the World Trade Center,
Rockefeller Center, the NYSE, Empire State Building, and other well
known structures. Howard subsequently built a commercial dive boat and
started a shipwreck diving and exploration business which he operates
on a part time basis. He holds a 100 ton license as an ocean operator
and captain’s his vessel, the Eagle’s Nest, on shipwreck exploration
ventures. Howard played an active role in gaining access to the wreck
of the USS Monitor so independent divers could to do research on the
vessel. It was a five year battle with the government that fellow
Vietnam veteran Gary Gentile, admiralty attorney Peter Hess, and Howard
finally won. While his career as a shipwreck explorer was brought to an
end in 2003 when reconstructive surgery from a wound he suffered in
Vietnam made it impossible for him to do decompression dives any
longer, Howard continues to find success on his various projects.
Helping to build the Modern Whig Party is his next project. It is a
project he is taking on so his grandchildren can grow up in a country
that offers them a bright future.

North Carolina Chairman John Moore II is
a golf professional in Raleigh. He has a history degree from North
Carolina State University and has demonstrated a firm and realistic
grasp of the political situation both within the state and nationally.
Formerly a Republican before registering as unaffiliated, Mr. Moore
brings extensive knowledge and ideas to the Modern Whig Party.

Ohio Chapter Chairman Larry Carver has served both
the nation and community for
virtually his entire professional career. A disabled Army veteran, Mr.
Carver was born and raised on a beef farm in Portage County. After
retiring from the military, he immediately began serving as a teacher
and basketball coach in the Akron Public Schools. He also holds a
Masters in Secondary Education. In addition, Mr.
Carver is active with his church as well as with his teacher's
union. He also serves part time as a deputy sheriff. Moreover, as a
member of the NRA, Mr. Carver owns a small gunsmith shop where he
specializes in restoring antique firearms. He also is a member of the
Vietnam Veterans of America, American Legion, Disabled American
Veterans,
The Retired Enlisted Association and the Fraternal Order of Police.

and is an experienced teacher in Northeast Ohio. Ms. Gardner is
currently inactive with the party as we await her return from a second

Oregon Chairman Brian Fuller is a technology professional whose focus is to improve the
accessibility and effectiveness of education for all Americans. Prior efforts
include working for a pioneering nonprofit to help establish Formative
Assessment as an effective tool for U.S. K-12 teachers. This tool allowed
teachers to develop more effective instructional plans and accelerate individual
student growth. Current activities include the establishment of a nonprofit
whose mission is to help adults overcome the various socio-economic barriers
that hinder them from having meaningful careers. Brian is passionate about his
community and strives for opportunities that allow him to humbly serve them.

Roehler is a Political Science major at Austin Peay State University
and a twenty-seven year resident of Tennessee. He also is well versed
in the complex and diverse world of politics in the Volunteer
state. Employed for nine years in the telecommunications
industry, he has gained a unique perspective on modern communication
and privacy issues and strongly supports stronger protections for law
abiding citizens. The son of a U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Roehler
understands the importance of taking care of the men and women who
protect us during and after their service. Living in the Greater
Nashville area he is well positioned to work closely with candidates
for and members of the Tennessee Legislature to ensure that Whig
principles are championed at every opportunity.

Texas Chairman Brian Staley is an established attorney based in
Houston. Mr. Staley also has served our country with honor due to his
professional experience with the Central Intelligence Agency. Along

Party has demonstrated excellent and insightful political knowledge.

Chairwoman Melissa Perez is a resident of Northern Virginia. She is a

Wisconsin Chairman Joseph Mendez is a Machinist who was born and raised in
Milwaukee. He joined the Modern Whig Party after making the personal decision to

thinks, he brings a strong sense of determination and passion for his community.

Region Coordinator Ken Belcher was among the first to revitalize
the old Whig Party. As founder of the USA Whig Party (since merged with
the Modern Whig Party), Ken was instrumental in organizing diverse
groups of people to the mainstream ideals of this organization. In
November 2008, Ken was elected to the office of Constable by voters in
Lee County, AL.
