Sparks of the new American ideal

Picked this off another wesbite, not a political one, where one citizen types this:

" You can't force people to become fed up. Governments can bring people to the point where they are fed up. This is occuring right now but it's not going to happen over-night. There is a need for patience.

It's going to take time for the movement to grow from (a) grassroots to a forest.

We are all blind in one area or another so we have no right trying to lift the blindness of others through personal attacks and name calling, while pridefully not considering our own blindness first".

:) YEAH MAN!! Now that right there smacks of pure, raw, and naked whiggery."Aint" it beautiful!? :o)

Gene,

Counldnt agree more, we need to move from attacking to EDUCATING each other. Everyone has his/her own expertise and if we share (and learn) from each other's expertise we can only hope to become a better educated citzenry.

Yeah that is right we need to educate and share our knowledge with others. Everyday we all will teach and learn some new things and become more educated day by day.

Silva, man, you GET IT. How much free time do you have to devote to "Wrighting" ( or should we say RE-writing!) the Republic?

What we are doing here, ladies and gentlemen, is utterly cellular by design. That means a bunch of things, yet here at the birth of a movement one important thing it means is that change, real authentic change, has to happen one soul at time.

Which is why when I "run into" someone like abdielo, who intuitively gets it, I have to ask them to volunteer, if not for MWP leadership, then at least to keep preaching real change to fellow citizens. In a respectful way, the Whig way.

Not to be too religious, which is not so Whiggy in public, but the old saying goes, " The Kingdom of Heaven is within."( actually I did not hear that in Church , but off a PFunk song, so I guess its kosher!) One of the few times you'll see me interject religion into politics. The meaning of that saying is no more true in spiritual beliefs, than it is in our civic outlook. Our movement, for the betterment of ALL OF US, has to start WITHIN each and every one of us first.

Know the system is wrong, understand how and why, and take your place among us.

Once you "get it" inside your intellect, there IS no turning back. Everything becomes so much clearer. The "noise" that is passed off as debate, the followership that passes off as "leadership" are visible now. In fact, you might begin to notice how the disfunction in politics is causing societal disfunction.

Old Army expression,"Sh!& rolls downhill ". No more true than in our behavior as citizens, as we look to false leaders for our cues as to how to behave.

Bullcrap. Y'all look to Juan. He is LEADING. And others like my friend Lou, who wrote that opening piece. Like AlbertGeorge. Even though we may not have any "rank" right now, its the change on the inside we need to foster like a WILDFIRE across this gerat land. The outside is coming soon, but have many miles to go.

To Rosaura and all others....... become active in civic affairs. Have political discussions but use the Whiggy tools of truth and perspective, of integrity, of respect for all your fellow citizens, i.e, talk and think differently than is the norm today. You will be noticed by your language. YOU ARE THE LEADERS!!!!

Now speaking of leadership. To volunteer in the MWP is very difficult now if you are not a leader. Not everyone is, and that is OK, its the natural order. Followers can do allot, and they will eventually run this movement. Yet to be a leader you have to have a blank piece of paper in front of you, and STILL know what to do. A follower is glad to take action once they are given direction.

As the MWP is still a "skeleton" crew, we need leaders. Please, bear in mind, that intellectualy, it matters not if you are a student, a housewife ( or house husband), a retired surgeon, or an intellectual property attorney, the leader/follwer archetypes are much more basic than that.

Leaders are the "community organizers". Followers are the messengers and worker bees. Each are required for the "hive" to flourish.

So step one is to understand who you are, and what you can do best.

And while there are always slots open at the national level in such a young dynamic movement, its really your neighboorhood we'd like to concentrate on. Your school. Your Church or civic organization.

Because it has to be cellular, a growing matrix of intertwined souls with a common purpose, who start from within each other. Its permanance and sustainability is undeniable.

CARRY ON!

Well mostly we deny this fact but still it remains a fact. We are habituated of doing this. Start teaching every other person irrespective of our own faults and blindness's.

We are indeed "habituated" of doing this, and the two "incorporated and fully vested" political parties are the dog trainers enabling this.

A victory for "social justice" last night aside, it is my heartfelt belief that the two corporates are splintering our nation and not allowing open honest dialoge which ought be part of America, i.e, they are simply clinging to their power base, and trying to protect it.

But readers, DONT BELEIVE ME. Be a WHIG, check it out for yourself, use your own mind. Watch carefully how the "fiscal cliff" issue goes down, and ask yourself, "are there any REAl leaders in Washington"?

Real leaders just do what is right, for the people.
